Trinity College purchased the property, formerly known as Sunset Estate, in Bannockburn, Illinois in 1960.
The Trinity Theological Seminary met in Bannockburn for the first time in 1961. There were forty-two students enrolled.
The Trinity Theological Seminary became Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1963.
In 1965, the college relocated to the Bannockburn site.
Trinity takes over Miami Christian College in 1968.
In 1996, Trinity schools merge to become Trinity International University.
