The program ZotFile allows you to save pdfs to Google Drive or your computer instead of Zotero in order to save file space in Zotero.
If you have a physical book in front of you, you can scan the barcode into Zotero using the "shortcuts" app on your iPhone or iPad.

ZoteroBib is a tool created by Zotero to generate bibliographies without needing to create a Zotero account or build a personal library. Simpy go to https://zbib.org/ and enter a url, ISBN, title, or other accepted identifier, and ZoteroBib generates a bibliographic entry that you can combine with others and export.
