JSTOR offers scholarly journal articles, books, and primary sources in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.

What is New in JSTOR

JSTOR's new interactive resesarch tool is available!

Rolfing Library has early access to JSTOR's research tool in beta. Access and explore the tool yourself:

1. Go to JSTOR.

2. Log in to your JSTOR account (or create a new one, if necessary) and make sure you also have access to Rolfing Library resources.

3. Run a search and open any journal article, book chapter, or research report to start using the tool. Try it out with this example.

4. Share feedback using the thumbs-up or thums-down rating. For thumbs-rating, you may provide additional details to help improve the tool. 

Log in to JSTOR

Steps to log in to JSTOR, after creating a JSTOR account using Trinity email address :

1. Click the JSTOR link from the library homepage.

2. Click "Log in" button. Then the options to login in will appear.

3. Click "Log in with Google" if you are already logged in to TIU in the same window.

What is a personal account?

A registered personal account is a free account that enables you to access, cite, and return to JSTOR content. Students, scholars, and independent historians may use a personal account to conveniently save, manage, and organize citations for projects, articles, and papers directly on JSTOR.

Who uses a personal registered account?

Anyone with an e-mail address may register for a personal account.

How do I register for a personal account?

  1. Visit the JSTOR registration page.
  2. Provide an email address.
    • The email address you choose to register with will be your default username.
  3. Confirm your email address.
  4. Select a strong password. Passwords must:
    • Contain at least one (1) upper or lowercase character.
    • Contain at least one (1) number or special character.
    • Be a minimum of six (6) characters in length.
    • No spaces or whitespace are permitted.
  5. Confirm your password.
  6. Optionally, provide any additional information you would like to share (role, area of study, etc.).
  7. Review the Terms and Conditions of use and select the checkbox.
  8. To stay logged in, select Keep me Logged In.
  9. To opt into updates from JSTOR and/or JSTOR-participating publishers, select JSTOR Updates.
