What is RISS International?

  • RISS International is the union catalogue of university libraries and full-text journal databases (including KISS and DBPia) in South Korea and it provides bibliographic information and services for over 18 million (as of May 2021) scholarly materials including these & dissertations. 
  • KERIS has been operating RISS International since 2006.
  • KERIS is a public institution under the Ministry of Education in Korea, founded in 1999 and located southern area of Korea. KERIS implements various projects and academic research related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and digital in education ranging from kindergarten to higher education.
  • One of KERIS operations is RISS (Research Information Sharing Service) and RISS International.
