While registration for these events is not required, it's highly recommended. Thanks for letting us know you'll be coming! (Registration for in-person drop-in sessions isn't necessary. Just stop by!)
Join us for our weekly Graduate Writing Boot Camp—a distraction-free space designed to help you focus and make progress on your papers. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea (in person) while you write alongside fellow students in a quiet, supportive environment.
Each session will include three 50-minute writing sessions and two 10-minute breaks. (This is a version of the Pomodoro Method adjusted for people who are already highly motivated.)
We will begin promptly at 8:30 and 1:00; to eliminate distractions for participants, we ask that you come early and be ready to begin work at the start time. No late arrivals will be permitted to enter the room.
When you come, plan to participate for the full session; please leave early only in the case of an emergency.
Phones are permitted during breaks; otherwise, they must be put away. (Two-factor authenticate your TIU sign-in before the session starts!)
Cups will be available, but to eliminate unnecessary waste, we encourage you to bring your own cup or mug (preferably with a lid).
