How to Log into Library Services

1. On the Rolfing Library Login Page, choose TIU Users if you are a current TIU student, faculty, or staff member. Otherwise, choose Alumni & visitors.

   • If you are a TIU alumnus or visitor and have not yet done so, you will need to sign up for a courtesy account before you can access library services. (See below for more information.)  
      
2. On the Microsoft sign-in page, enter your full TIU email address including @tiu.edu (e.g., zjsmith@tiu.edu).

• You must use your TIU account to access library services.
• If you're having problems logging in, click here for help with your TIU password.

Note: When you are logged into any TIU service (e.g., TIU email, myTIU, Canvas), you will be automatically logged into library services. You may need to choose between different Google accounts during your initial login, so be sure to use your TIU account.

Don't have TIU login information?

• If you haven't yet received a TIU username and password, you can contact IT at 847-317-8175 or ithelpdesk@tiu.edu.
• Visit http://password.tiu.edu to refresh or reset your password.

   

Getting an error message?

• If you are getting an error message like the one below, you probably used a non-Trinity google account to login.
• 
• If your browser keeps going to this error message, try clearing your cache or cookies in your browser. Or you could try using an incognito tab or a different browser (like Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox).
• When you log in again, be sure to use your TIU account.
• To prevent the issue in the future, you can set up separate Chrome profiles for your personal and TIU accounts.

Login Help & Access for Courtesy Patrons & Visitors

• Before you log into your library account, email circ@tiu.edu or call 847-317-4015 to set up your password.
• Be sure to select the option for Alumni & visitors to access your library account.
• See the alumni page for online resources alumni can access. Visitors can only access online databases when they are on campus.

   

Signing Out

• You are signing out of the Library's OpenAthens service.
• You may still be logged into other campus services which will retain your login to Library resources.
• If you were using a public computer, please clear your credentials completely by

2. Close all browser windows
