Atla Religion Database Guide

Introduction

The following is a tutorial on how to retrieve citation information for an Atla article in Chicago/Turabian format.

Video Tutorial

Locating the Article

First, you will want to locate the article. Do so by searching for your article in Atla.

Navigating to the Citation information

Now that you have located your article, select "Cite" in the right hand menu.

Retrieving the Citation Information

From here, scroll through the list of citation styles until you reach the Chicago/Turabian style entries. Here you will find Bibliographic information.

The first entry, "Author-Date," is for the style that uses in-text parenthetical citations and is used by DMin students and PhD students in ICS and EDS.

The second entry, "Humanities," is for the style using footnotes and is used by most other TEDS students.
